I can finally say that for the last 18 months on and off I have been working on the new record coming out for Van Halen.
A Different Kind of Truth is being released Feb 7 and it ROCKS !!!!. You will not be disappointed. We made a rock record and it kicks ass. Trust me.
I am not allowed to talk about an amazing record I engineered and mixed that will be out in 2012.
When the time is right ….
You will know !!!!

This year has been chock full of nuts … I started by producing and engineering the new Sick Puppies record …
” Polar Opposite” with Rock Mafia. It just came out last week so please check it out.
I have also been working with Marti Fredericksen on some of his productions. He is an incredible hit song writer.
Most recently I have been mixing a few new artists and also helping in the production of Rock Mafia’s work on the American Idol contestants songs and singles.

So the long and winding road is almost over “World Gone Crazy” , the new Doobie Brother Brother’s record is mixed and mastered and will be released in September !!! I am so proud of it and am glad it will see the light of day soon. YEH !!

Hey there. With the weather rocking again in Cali, I am enjoying the change of season.
It has been a bittersweet year this past year so far
We lost Stephen Bruton last May to cancer and posthumously he has garnered great praise for his work on Crazy Heart.We lost Greg Ladanyi in September,Don Smith and Terry Howard just in this past February and now Bill Dooley just this weekend. It really sucks losing friends and mentors.
I know I have said this already in recent blogs but The Doobie Brothers record IS really close to being done. REALLY … I mean it.
I am also almost done with the cool and groovy FuseBox Funk EP. These guys are from Jacksonville, Florida.
My buddy INQ and I will be finishing his dvd promo also soon. Keep on the lookout in your town for INQ
