Wow, it feels like we put a man on the moon.
I watched with tears in my eyes as we elected Obama this past week.
Now, he has the unenviable task of turning this ocean liner around and setting course in a new direction.
But, I believe, a change is gonna come !!

I was born by the river in a little tent
Oh and just like the river I’ve been running ever since
It’s been a long, a long time coming

It’s been too hard living but I’m afraid to die
Cause I don’t know what’s up there beyond the sky

I go to the movie and I go downtown

But he winds up knocking me
